These beautiful fluffy face and bearded birds are one of the most popular in back yard flocks.  Not only are they stunning to look at but they are full of personality.  They are a curious busy bunch and will always keep you entertained!

The hens lay ample amounts of medium sized BLUE EGGS and are easy to raise. These sweet and docile birds also sport a pea comb and very small wobbles, which makes them easy to keep in our colder Canadian climates. 

Orpington (Silver Laced) One of the most stunning breed colors there is out there.  Beautiful plumage outlined in a rich dark Black, Chocolate or Gold. Orpington are easy keepers and fair well in the winter.  Their full fluffy feathering makes them not as resistant to heat and therefor need shade areas to cool down in the summer.  The hens are decent layers of med brown eggs.  The Roosters are absolute show stoppers with their large size and colorful feathering.  If you are looking for beauty and grace in your flock SLO are a must have.
